Meta x Olympics Sizzle

Ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, Colorways Studios brought me on as a motion designer and video editor to craft a high-energy sizzle reel for a very special audience: the world’s top athletes.The piece opened a 30-minute educational video produced in collaboration with Meta, aimed at helping Olympic athletes make the most of Meta’s platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and beyond—during the Games.
My job was to create a sizzle that felt modern, engaging, and inspiring, setting the tone for what was to come. The reel needed to captivate instantly, maintaining energy and visual interest while aligning with Meta’s clean, brand-forward aesthetic.From stitching together fast-paced athlete footage to designing smooth transitions and animated text callouts, I kept the visuals dynamic and rhythmic, reinforcing the excitement of the Olympics while teasing the practical, platform-focused content that followed.
The end result was a compelling intro that hyped the athletes up, got them engaged, and primed them for the rest of the training video—striking the right balance between entertainment and education.
